Thrilling, exotic, pampered, soothing, air conditioned, what ever else you do in Southern India, book a night aboard a houseboat! I highly recommend the unique experience of traveling the waterways (like Venice!) via converted rice barges, they are placial floating mansions run by very friendly crews! You're going to love every sight, every vista, every morsel! I experienced an overnight cruise in February 2008. I want to go again! Carolyn
