Chinese Cafe 8 showcases the best of the cuisine with more than 250 dishes representing regional styles from Shanghai to Shisen, Sichuan to Canton. Among the menu’s more mainstream offerings of dim sum and hot pot stew sets, duck reigns supreme. And here, Peking is king. Unlike most Chinese restaurants in Japan, these ducks are primed in genuine Peking style, meaning that skin and flesh are served together. This house specialty satisfies three to four people for ¥3680. For those not feeling ducky enough for the whole bird, its heart, wings, liver and other a la carte parts are ¥315 each.

Attractively priced lunch sets (¥550) like chicken and bamboo and stewed bean curd come with unlimited helpings of tea, rice and dessert. Dinner parties have ample room at round family-style tables.
