Things of the past are not easily terminated, as the Russian Ploitburo opens their door for tourists.

Getting the Russian visa is not as difficult as staying or getting out of the country.

There are no such things as bed and breakfast, not even hostels or sharing space with Russian families.

I traveled to Russia from Lebanon early this year to see a country that eluded me to enter during the Iron curtain years of the soviet Era.

All signs where written only in Russian language and alphabets,so it will be difficult for new tourists entering Russia for the first time.

Where to stay is another difficult task, unlike in Britain and most British commonwealth countries where there are several alternatives for accommodations.

The Russian people are very friendly, but one needs to be very careful, as you might end up loosing your belongings even your credit card, which can be over drawn.

If you are a coloured tourist, be watchful of skinheads (Group of Racists and Neo-Nazi) who will beat you up, and may even murder you, some times the police partakes in their beaten, and they are seldom arrested.

Russia is a criminalized society where robbery in the name of Mafia is a legalized institution.

As a young lady once told me, with the collapse of communism most people were not ready for the new system, so the brave ones take to Robbery and nicked named it Mafia as this is the only way they can be rich.

Saint Petersburg is a very beautiful town to stay, with lots of Historical sites.

The Cementry for great men like poets, historians, etc. is located at Ploshi Alexander Nyevskargo.

A popular street is Nyevsky Prospect, where there are shops, night life, restaurants and many entertainment centers.

Your entry into Russia is not a guaranteed for an exit of the country.

Make sure you register with the district foreign police department called (ORVIR,)

Make sure you inform them two weeks to your departure, as you might be disappointed if your visa expires even few seconds, that you will be turned back from the Airport to get your exit visa.

Hospitality is the hallmark of most Russians, the Russian women are among the most beautiful in the world,they are so easy to associate with,so easy to fall in love,and so easy to leave the love and relationship.

Most Airlines have flights to Moscow and Saint Petersburg in Russia daily.

Where to stay in Moscow for a cheaper three-nigh stay, is Star Travel Hostel in Prospect Mira 50.

There are several five stars and three stars hotels for those who can affor it.

Saint Petersburg have two hostels where you can stay as long as your visa is valid,and they cost between twenty to thirty dollars a night.

Saint Petersburg is a Venice in the East,with Peter and Paul Fortress, the Peterhof fountains, the winter garden, the Hermitage Museum and lots more.

Tveskay Ulitsa,is a popular street,full of attractions and is the centre of Moscow,most Embassies are located there.

You should avoid here: Avoid late night trips.

Avoid walking alone.

Dont change money to un-authorized agents,as they will likely run away with your money.

If you are coloured:Latino,Arabs,Black African or Asians,watch and look out for these Noe Nazi groups called skin heads,you might be beaten up and even looses your life.

Dont leave your drink to go and easy your self,always watch your drink,as they can put some invisible sleeping powder called chlorophinol to your drink,you passed off and your money,everything is gone.

Watch out for legalized robbers called(Mafia?) and dont discuss business.
