Gentles Cool Spot - Restaurant Gales Point - Belize

This is one of two spots in town to eat cheaply. The fairly simple open veranda has a few plastic garden tables and chairs where you can eat rice and beans, of course, but also a traditional stew dish of fish, plantain, yucca and coconut served with white rice. There are also four different varieties of local wine on offer, but you have to have a sweet tooth to enjoy them.
