Hol Chan Marine Park

This trip offers some of the best and most varied snorkelling on the entire East coast of Central America. Most tours, which include an in-sea guide, covering three sites-the Coral Gardens off Caye Caulker, the Hol Chan Marine Reserve and the Shark and Ray Alley. Coral Gardens offers a huge variety of coral, much of which is colourful and alive with yellows, oranges, purples and greens and sometimes full of fish. Hol Chan, a much deeper site, offers a different experience with big fish like Spotted Eagle Rays to be found as well as hiding Moray Eels, while the Shark and Ray alley enables you to swim at close quarters with friendly stingrays and passive nurse sharks. If you are lucky you can stop off and find a turtle to swim with too.
