If you want to get away from the crowds, then you want to go to Turneffe Islands. This trip takes you outside the reef that surrounds Caye Caulker and Ambergris Caye and out into the blue. Beware the choppy water as you cruise the long ride to the  Turneffe Atoll, but then marvel at the vibrant coral you get to see by making the effort to get there.
