V!VA User‘s Description

This takes just a few minutes to look around, but it is an interesting place to see if you are in the area. Part of the Monkey Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, this small netted area looks like a big greenhouse. It is filled with plants and has a small central pond and which is home to around 100 green iguanas. The animals are nurtured from birth before being released to the wild and it is easy to spot a few (but not many), especially in the mid to late afternoon when they are most active.

Entry is free.
