Casablanca Hotel

This is a large hotel and offers good middle ground accomodation. Rooms are smartly decorated and come with clean private bathrooms. While there is not a great amount of communal seating area, the rooms are plenty big enough to make up for it.

Traveler Reviews of Casablanca Hotel

Casa Blanca was wonderful!

I student taught in San Ignacio for 4 weeks. Because of a few issues while there with where I was staying, my roommate and I moved into Casa Blanca for the last 2 weeks. Because we were traveling around Belize on the weekends and dog-sat for a friend in San Ignacio for a few days, we were always moving around and the owner at Casa Blanca was so nice about everything. She had an opening and reserved for days we needed. Our beds were made and clean everday, the showers were HOT (which was not what we had seen the previous 2 weeks), the floors and everything were the CLEANEST we saw ANYWHERE, and the atmosphere was nice. It was a great little place-cable tv, shared microwave, refrigerator, couch, balcony. My roommate and I absolutely LOVED it and would reccommend it to anyone stopping in San Ignacio. San Ignacio is a great little place with wonderful locals! When I go back to Belize, I'm going to San Ignacio and staying at Casa Blanca!

Casablanca- Clean,safe,cheap

Higher security & luxury than most places in the price range. Cleaned twice a day, it seems. Rooms had In-suite bathrooms, ceramic tiles, TV and AC. Price is cheaper if you don't need a/c. Rooms had antique furniture and a balcony overlooking street. Guest sse of main kitchen/fridge is okay. Friendly owners. Right on the main street. Can be a bit noisy in the rooms from traffic at the front of the hotel, around the 15th, where the street parking changes from one side to the other. (Illegally parked cars block the buses & trucks and horns go off all day - starting very early.)
