Cultural Tour, Ruin
V!VA User‘s Description
Expensive? Yes. Worth the money? Heck, yeah! If you have one Maya experience, have this one-it is extremely unique. Think Tomb Raider and you are almost there. After a one-hour drive and getting kitted up with headlamps then plunge into the water and swim through the cave entrance before climbing out inside the cave. You then follow the river, climbing through small gaps in the rock and wading up to your neck in water before scaling a small rock up to a massive cavern in which you will find Mayan pottery and remnants that will blow your mind. Enough said. Go find out for yourself.
Tours around BZ$150 per person. Operators include Mayawalk.
It was awesome! The rocks and water made you feel like you were on a different planet.
