Getting to and away from the National Park couldn’t be easier. One entrance to the park is located just at the south end of the main street in Cahuita, and is within walking distance of the centre. The Puerto Vargas entrance, found just over three kilometers south of Cahuita, is well signposted, and is easily accessible by car, bus or bicycle. Buses leaving Cahuita for Puerto Viejo, or vice-versa, will pass by the stop, located at the top of the street entering to the National Park. Buses normally run every hour on the hour, but schedules change frequently, so check in the ticket office for up to date timetables. Bicycles can also be rented from many places in town.
