There are many tour agencies in Cahuita offering everything from sloth tours to snorkeling, and language classes to laundry. Despite the fact that they seem to offer almost the same things, most have a specialty, as outlined in separate reviews. Typical tours include guided wildlife walks, boat trips, canopy tours and overnight packages to nearby towns. Most also can offer car, and bike rental and occasionally motorbikes. Prices don’t differ dramatically from place to place, but it’s always worth it to ask around. Be aware also of the overuse of ‘Eco’ in Costa Rica. Although a company may deliver good tours, the offering of ‘Eco-something’ does not necessarily mean there is anything particularly ‘Eco’ about them.
