Manzanillo is another one of Costa Rica's hidden treasures, an area that has yet to be impacted by excess tourism and offers the discerning explorer miles of clean shoreline, coral reefs, and opportunities to catch rare dolphins in their natural habitat. Nearby Punta Mona gives one closer access to view the country's native monkeys, and the newly created Manzanillo National Wildlife Refuge is just a short distance away.
