This spacious beach-front resort is surrounded by beautiful tropical gardens and is great for nature-lovers, surfers and families. Here, the wooden-crafted rooms and bungalows are either fan-cooled or have A/C and come with private bathroom, telephone, TV, hot water showers and terrace. Suites include a fridge and coffee-maker and have beautiful sea views. Two bungalows are fully wheelchair accessible. Rent surf or boogie boards in their surf shop, also selling brand-name surf clothes, or rent bicycles and go into town for the day. There is also a Mediterranean restaurant (specializing in homemade Italian food), swimming pool and Jacuzzi, laundry service, WiFi and safe box. It’s not cheap, but it’s very nice. Prices start from $65 for one and $80 for two, and go up to $100. Group rates are good, with rooms for up to four available for $136 a night. Kids under six stay free. Prices do not include tax, and cost $10 more at Christmas and Easter.
