Set back from the main street, this Chilean/German-owned hotel overlooks the large football field in Puerto Viejo, and the jungle beyond. Quiet private rooms start at $20 a single and $25 a double with shared bathroom, and $25/35 with private bathroom. Clean and bright, each bed has a mosquito net and towel provided. Tours can be arranged by the hotel, and soon to come are various classes (Spanish, English, Yoga, Pilates, and Salsa to name a few) and also massage. Continental breakfast available for $5.
