Butterfly Farm

This is a must see if you want to take a close look at some of Costa Rica's most famous residents, and many people say its better than the butterfly farms in Monteverde. Offering four large nets of butterflies and one of orchids, a guide will take you around to point out caterpillars, cocoons and many types of butterflies, including the big bright blue ones and ones with owl and snake camouflage. If you are lucky they might stay still long enough for you to take a photo.
