Museum
V!VA User‘s Description
Overview
There is not much to see at this tiny museum, based at the Volcano Observatory Lodge. There are a few rocks of lava and a bit of information on how volcanoes work, but there is a seismograph which is fascinating to watch for those interested in the workings of the volcano. There are instructions detailing what the computer screen is showing and if you are lucky there may be a vocanolagist on site (although this is rare) to tell you more. Watch the volcano from the observation deck, if it is clear, then duck down to see what the seismograph showed of the eruption.
