La Choza de Laurel has an international reputation as one of the very best resturaunts in Central America. Designed to suggest an indigenous habitat , La Choza de Laurel features the best of traditional cuisine, such as Patacones con queso y frijoles (fried plaintains with cheese and beans), and la pechuga rellena y vegetales (chicken breast stuffed with ham and cheese and a side of vegetables) as well as seafood with a memorable variety of spices and sauces.
