Since this city is right on the gulf, you will encounter a lot of seafood in Golfito. Traditional food, as usual, is easy to find in little sodas scattered around town. Still, if you’ve got a yen for something different and perhaps closer to home, you can find pizza, Chinese, and breakfast / diner food all on the main strip. Most restaurants are casual dining, but if you are looking for something more upscale, try some of the higher-end hotels like FishHook Marina, Hotel Sierra or Hotel Casa Roland.
