For a small town, Pavones has a good share of variety. There is even a vegetarian restaurant here, though it is closed during low season. A few pizza and pasta places are scattered about town, the most notable being La Piña, about a 20 minute walk from the center. For value and variety, nothing beats the cantina. This is also one of just a couple of places serving traditional cuisine. Virtually all of the restaurants go for casual, open-air dining. The most upscale eatery in Pavones is the Blue Morpho Grill and Lounge, attached to the Castillo hotel, but it's a bit of a hike to get there.
