Hotel Oro Verde - Hotel Puerto Jimenez - Costa Rica
The inviting, second-story rooms at Oro Verde are only $7-8 for a single, which includes cable TV, and heavy wooden dresser, towels and soap. The larger rooms have hot water and a few also have A/C. Doubles, triples and higher run around $14-$20. At night the metal door in front of the stairs is kept locked, providing some extra security (however guests have a key to this door and can enter and exit freely).
