Iguana Lodge: Pearl of the Osa - Hotel Puerto Jimenez - Costa Rica

This luxury lodge offers three distinct types of accommodation: Club Rooms, Casitas and the Villa Villa Kula. Villa Villa Kula is the most extravagant option. It is a three-story, multicolored jungle palace with three bedrooms overlooking the rain forest and gulf, two full baths and a kitchen. The Villa does not include meals, but a meal plan can be arranged if you wish. The two-story Casitas include breakfast and dinner. They come with private decks, some with a view of the Golfo Dulce, garden showers and soft beds with mosquito netting. Club Rooms are the most like traditional hotel rooms, although they are still luxurious and plush. They include breakfast. Prices vary depending on the season. In high season, the Club Rooms, Casitas and Villa run $155 per person, $135 per night and $450 per night, respectively. There are two restaurants on the premises – the Iguana Rancho and the Pearl of the Osa Bar and Restaurant. The main rancho has further amenities to enhance your stay, including free wifi and internet access, an extensive library and a Japanese-style bath house with a massage parlor.
