La Choza del Manglar - Hotel Puerto Jimenez - Costa Rica

The “Mangrove Hut” occupies four acres of tropical gardens and natural mangrove forest. Monkeys, macaws and other animals are regular denizens of the property and some even visit guests at the breakfast bar, so you are sure to see plenty of wildlife while you're here. A continental breakfast is included, and you can purchase drinks at the “Monkey Bar” during your stay. The rooms here are spacious and well-decorated. The fountain and garden rooms have hot water and air conditioning and can accommodate one to four people. The deluxe garden and deluxe fountain room are wheelchair accessible. There are also two private cabins with decks overlooking the mangroves for wildlife observation. These two have fans instead of A/C because the extra noise can sometimes scare off the animals. The hotel offers several tours, such as the zipline canopy tour, an Animal Wildlife Refuge and snorkeling tour, and trips to Corcovado. The property has wireless internet access.
