Getting Around

The easiest way to get around Tamarindo is to walk; the downtown consists mainly of three streets. If you’re staying further out in Langosta, feeling a bit tired, or maybe partied a little too hard, you can catch a taxi anywhere in town. They can get a bit expensive, so be sure to agree upon a price before you get in. If you want to cross the estuary, without swimming or paddling, you can take a boat for about a dollar, which is a real bargain considering there are regular crocodile spottings here.
