Think Cafe del Mar, Ibiza, and you are halfway to this place. Chilled out tunes and icy shakes make this the perfect place to watch the sun go down on Tamarindo beach. Crowds flock to this bar and the beach in front of it to see the orange ball descend so get there early to grab the prime spot and don't plan to leave until well after dark.

Copacabana in Tamarindo

The owners and staff are fantastic. The grounds are spacious with beautiful trees that line the big pool. The rooms are clean and the A/C works great. There are large covered area with internet access. I broke my sunglasses and the owner, Franco, took me to his room and spent an hour fixing them. Great place, better people.
