Drake Bay's original insect tour was created by etymologist Tracie Stice, “The Bug Lady,” although other local guides have since created their own excursions. Tracie's tour lasts 2.5 hours, during which time you are likely to see a fun variety of creepy crawlies like scorpions, spiders, lizards, frogs and stick bugs. Tracie allows a maximum of eight people per tour. The tour is not offered at all hotels in Drake’s Bay – check out Tracie’s website to get the details on tour logistics. The tour fills up fast, so reserve in advance.
