Laguna Silvestre offers simple wood cabins set on the Golfo Dulce Forestry Reserve, and it is one of the few budget options in the Carate area. The lodge also owns 260 private hectares of rainforest for touring and wildlife observation. You can opt to stay in the cabins and have meals included in the price, or you can simply camp here for $10 per person. The cost for three to four people with two meals a day is $23 a person, $55 a person with three meals. For two people it's $45 and $58 per person, respectively. Meals can also be purchased separately. Laguna Silvestre can accommodate groups of more than 10 people.
