When you ask the locals what there is to do in town, most of them just look at you and shrug. You do have a couple of options, though, if you're struggling to stay occupied.
Neily is littered with cheap clothing and shoe stores, should you need a shopping fix, not to mention the covered market beside the bus station. And for ladies seeking something a big more upscale, check out Chicas Boutique on the left before Restaurante Nuevo Mundo (the one near the park).
There are a lot of little gaming/gambling salons around town, and you'll find machines stuffed into unexpected places, like the ice cream parlor. There is also one video gaming place (Video Juegos Leonick) and a pool hall (La Confianza Pooles).

If you are just looking to relax and maybe do some people watching, there is a nice park in the center of town.
If you feel like going out, a couple of the bars, El Rancho and Restaurante Asia, start kareoke around 8p.m.
