Keeping in Touch
There is an internet place close to the park. It doesn't have a name per say, but the big white banner with bold, blue lettering is hard to miss. Head upstairs and you'll be directed to a very air-conditioned room with 10 computers. About 75c an hour (350 colones). Hours: Mon-Sat 10am.-8p.m. And Sun 9a.m.-5pm.
Public phones are located in front of the park or at the bus station, and phone cards can be purchased at the drug or grocery stores.

Shopping
El Dollar: El Dollar has anything you could ever want – from dry goods, makeup and clothes to tools, toys and school supplies. You can get a nice-looking pair of women's sandals here for about $4.
Market: The covered market is located right next to the bus station, and sells an assortment of clothes and souvenirs.
