Hotel Roland, a recent addition to a chain of resorts across Costa Rica, is one of, if not the most, exclusive hotel in Golfito. It provides three kinds suites – standard ($145), junior ($185) and master ($225). Suites are decked out with plush, elegant furnishings and adorned with local artwork. The master suite, the most decadent, is set up like a small apartment, equipped with a sofa, mini-bar and terrace. A high-class bar and restaurant are located upstairs, and there is another bar and restaurant downstairs for those staying in the business suites. The design of the business suites is the same as those above, but a standard costs only $110 per night, $85 for a double. Rates are for two people. Add $20 for each additional person. There is also a 90-seat theatre for meetings and presentations, in addition to a reception room for special events. The Hotel Casa Roland can provide tourist information and help to arrange tours, activities and transportation. Free internet is provided. In October 2008 an outdoor pool was being constructed.
