Plane
The most efficient way to travel between cities in this region is by plane. Small domestic flights are provided by the companies Sansa and Nature Air. Nature Air has a better flight record in terms of crashes, and they sponsor more community development programs than Sansa. Flights almost always leave in the morning. In the afternoon the winds pick up creating dangerous flying conditions for small aircraft. Do not board afternoon flights.

Bus
Tracopa buses, in addition to running between the Osa and San Jose, also connect all the towns and cities of this region.
Tracopa Bus Stations:
Paso Canoas 2 732-2122
Ciudad Neily 2 783-3227
Palmar 2 786-6511
Piedras 2 741-1103
Rio Claro 2 789 – 9392
Golfito 2 775-0365
San Isidrio 2 771-0468
San Vito 2 773-3410

Boat
Boat is a common mode of transportation in the Osa, and it is also the most efficient in some instances. Places where boat travel is the best or only option are between Sierpe and Bahia Drake, between Golfito and Puerto Jimenez, and between Golfito and Zancudo.
