Tourist Information
Clear River Sports and Adventure is the only tour office in town, and can provide you with information on possible tours and activities in the area. The people at Sea Kings can also arrange an array of tours and are probably the best to go to for surf-related queries.

Money
There are no banks or ATMs in Pavones, and few if any places in Pavones accept credit cards. You can, however, withdraw money at the grocery store or Ferreteria Supermares for a small service fee. The ferreteria charges slightly less (Open Mon-Fri. 6:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and Sat. 7a.m.-5p.m.).

Keeping in Touch
Clear River has internet access at 1500c an hour, 500c to use Skype (with an exchange rate of 550c to $1). The cantina also offers internet at a slightly higher rate from about 10a.m.-8p.m. There are two public phones next to the cantina and two across from the ferreteria.

Medical
There are no pharmacies or hospitals in Pavones - the closest facilities are in Golfito. There are a couple of doctors living in town who can deal with emergencies and a small clinic in neighboring Compte that can treat less serious injuries.
