For a small town, Pavones has a good share of variety. There is even a vegetarian restaurant here, though it is closed during low season. A few pizza and pasta places are scattered about town, the most notable being La Piña, about a 20 minute walk from the center. For value and variety, nothing beats the cantina. The most upscale eatery in Pavones is the Blue Morpho Grill and Lounge, attached to the Castillo hotel, but it's a bit of a hike to get there.
