Zancudo is a place for hydrophiliacs – nearly all the activities here have something to do with water. You can go boating or kayaking through the mangrove swamps, fishing on the ocean, surfing down on the south end of the beach or just spend the day hanging out on the sand. All of these activities with the exception of sport fishing are readily accessible and not too expensive. Most hotels can also arrange horseback rides as well, although it is better to go riding in a town like Pavones that has its own pastures. In general, if your place of lodging does not offer the tours or equipment you need to make the most of your time in Zancudo, the staff will know where to send you.
