Cuesta Arriba Hostel

Location:
150 m North of "La Lora Amarilla"
Santa Teresa, Costa Rica

Hostel

By Caroline Bennett

Just outside of “downtown” Santa Teresa and steps away from the La Lora surf break, is the quiet and affordable Cuesta Arriba Hostel. Run by a friendly Argentinean couple, this Spanish colonial style hostel offers spacious coed rooms that house up to six guests, each with private bathroom, individual surf racks, safe, and fan. The owners are happy to tell you about the area, and with a little heads up they'll even pick you up from the bus stop in town. For a quiet evening in, grab a flick from the wide selection of DVDs and lay back in the breezy lounge. Complementary coffee and toast served daily from 6-9 am, and there is a communal bicycle for trips into town.
