Horseback Riding
Brisas del Nara offers half or full day tours, for all ages, whether you’ve been on a horse before or not. Riding time on the day tour is 3 hours, plus you spend time at a ranch where there’s a swimming hole and waterfall. Half day tours can be taken in the morning or afternoon. They include 2 hours riding time over easier terrain, plus time spent at a swimming hole in the mountains. Tours include meals, drinks, rain ponchos (just in case), and transport from your hotel and back. Check out www.horsebacktour.com or call 2779-1235. Don Gilberto also offers tours, which you can book through Iguana Tours. Ride through the ecological reserve at Tocori or on the beach. You will also ride to swimming areas and get a Costa Rican meal. The minimum age is 6 years.
