Dona Isabel Restaurante Italiano

Restaurante Dona Isabel offers a basic Italian menu, including cheap pasta mains for CUC2.50 to CUC4, such as spaghetti bolognaise, carbonara and amatriciana. There are also meat and fish mains and starters such as bruschetta and beef carpacchio. Pizza is also featured on the menu. The restaurant has a nice patio area outside, or you can move inside away from the music, if you so wish. There are views of the souvenir market and the fort. The food is unspectacular but it’s not bad for those craving a fix of Italian food, or simply an escape from the criollo that dominates elsewhere. Special menus of the day are displayed on the board outside and are often better value than the meals on the main menu. Open midday to midnight.
