Bicycling from La Boca to Playa Ancon

For those staying in La Boca, a pleasant option for a day trip is to rent bicycles and ride to Playa Ancon. The ride is about 14 kilometers and is primarily flat. There is an older road that runs alongside the sea all of the way, or if heading out of La Boca, you can turn left onto the main road when you get to Grile Caribe, to take the newer road. The older road is in fairly good shape and is a prettier ride. You can arrange bicycle hire through your casa and the cost is CUC3.

Great value day out

At CUC3 for bike rental for the whole day, you can't go far wrong! The ride along the road (especially the old part of the road) is really beautiful and there are lots of opportunities for great photos along the way.
