Snorkeling

From the Marina Marlin opposite the Hotel Ancon, it is possible to arrange snorkeling trips that take in Cayo Blanco, an unspoiled reef a little way off the coast. For CUC45, the trip includes the boat ride of 90 minutes each way, snorkel gear rental, lunch and all you can drink. The tour stops at the Cayo for lunch and for some time to lay out on the beach. The currents can be a bit strong, so the snorkeling itself is better suited to stronger swimmers. The trip takes a full day, leaving at 9.30 a.m. and returning at 4.30 p.m. For those who want to just go out for a couple of hours, there are opportunities to head out with the dive boats. This can be organized on the beach at the dive hut in front of Hotel Ancon.
