Viñales Bus Tour

The Viñales bus tour is a great way to take in everything that the valley has to offer, including the caves, the mural, some great views of the mogotes, a tobacco farm and more. The green buses are sometimes open-air with a roof but no windows, and sometimes just a regular bus. There are a number of different stops that the bus makes. You buy your ticket on the bus at a cost of 5 CUC for the day. Then you are free to get on and off at will. The same guide is on the bus for the whole day, so you won’t get a ticket, but the guide will remember you. If you want to stop off and see a couple of the bigger attractions along the way, such as the caves, it is better to start the tour earlier in the day, perhaps no later than lunchtime.
