Casa de Don Tomas

Heading out along the main strip to the west of the town, Casa de Don Mason is an open-air restaurant offering a change from the food in your Casa or hotel. Unsurprisingly, the food is criollo and the menu primarily features meat, chicken or fish with rice and sometimes a small salad or potatoes. The place is frequented by Cubans at lunchtimes and there can be a nice through breeze if you want to get out of the heat. The wait staff are pleasant and fairly efficient. CUC6 for an entrée.
