The rooms at this little 'posada' certainly aren’t going to win any awards for style – they’re pretty basic. All have cable T.V., fan and en-suite toilet and shower, though, making them a decent budget option at US $7 per person per night.

The hotel proprietors are friendly and fun-loving (they seemed to be having quite a lively party during a January visit, but the noise died down after 11 pm), and they maintain a security presence around the clock.

Although meals are not included in the price, they can be provided on request (breakfast US $2.50) and internet access is available at the cost of US $1 per hour.

There is ample parking at Hotel Blanca Luna, and it is located only moments away from Suchitoto’s ‘Parque Centario’, where a number of cafes and low-key dining options are situated around the square next to the cathedral.
