Enter through the associated bookshop and you will find a funky little restaurant full of tables in a green and pleasant open air courtyard. There is live music every night, including open-mic on Wednesdays.The staff is friendly, the food, which is generally a mix of Mexican and Turkish, is fantastic and there is also happy hour. Open until midnight, 23:00 Sunday.

Simply the best place in town

We loved Rainbow Cafe, it has a wonderful unique atmosphere with live music every night, talks from local charities held every Tues evening, great healthy food at extremely reasonable prices, friendly service and a bookshop out front! We ate every day there whilst in antigua and can´t recommend it enough!

Hippie Cafe/ Bar

It is so refreshing, fun, lively, and you feel like a local yet with the comforts of home. Get a mojito!!! The music selections are diverse and entertaining.
I went there August 2006 and I even bought a t-shirt! They sell used books there too.

Rainbow one of my favorite neighborhood spots in antigua

loved the relaxed atmosphere, the Tuesday evening discussions, the music both live & canned. The soups, salads & delicious breakfasts. A great place to study & meet other students.
