Jabel Tinamit

This Mayan-owned and operated Spanish school is one of the more reputable in Panajachel. One-on-one or small group classes are available. The school's new building is located in the center of town near the main church. The school has a computer lab with eight computers and free wireless internet to students with laptops. From the main bus stop (at the cross roads of Calle Principal, Calle Santander and Avenida de Los Arboles) walk up Avenida de Los Arboles for 2 minutes and we are located just inside the entrance to Callejon Las Armonias, on the right side. Prices range from $90 for 20 hours per week to $125 for 30 hours per week. Add $5 during the high season months of January, February, June, July and August.
