San Pedro La Laguna Hotels
San Pedro is kind of like the cheaper cousin of nearby San Marcos. San Pedro hostels tend to run around $5 to $7 a night. Pretty cheap, especially considering the lakeside scenery. San Pedro hostels tend to be a bit rustic and rough around the edges, but if you can brave cold showers and concrete floors you'll be just fine.
