Museo De Ferrocarril - Museum Guatemala City - Guatemala

Guatemala City’s main train station was constructed in 1884 and symbolized significant technological and economic advancements in Guatemala at the time. However, over the years the building suffered greatly from damage by natural disasters and fire. In 2003, the entire building was remodeled and today stands as a fine railway museum full of memorabilia, locomotives, clothing, photographs and interactive exhibitions relating to the country’s railway history.
