Torre Del Reformador - Monument Guatemala City - Guatemala

This 70 meter high tower of galvanized iron was inspired by the iconic Eiffel Tower and is used as a point of reference for those exploring Guatemala City. It was built in honor of General Justo Rufino Barrios, known as ‘The Reformer’ who historically fought to unite Central America and died a hero in battle. The bell at the top of the tower is used every year to officially start Independence Day festivities.
