V!VA User‘s Description

This place looks plush and has plenty going for it. Set in lush gardens with
a nice communal area at its centre, there are double and dormitory rooms in
traditional-style bungalows. The vibe is chilled out and there is a Mayan
sauna and massages available on site.

Casa La Paz

Rating: 100%

This place is great. It sits right in the middle of San Marcos, just a short walk from the lake, and everything else. It's bungalows are gorgeous. Really gorgeous. One of the nicest place I stayed in all of central america. Sitting amidst trees and gardens and with a nice restaurant serving great vegetarian meals and good coffee or tea. It's like being at home, almost. So comfortable. You can take a sauna, or get a massage if you like. And it's really reasonably priced, for what you get. It even has hot showers, which is a rarity in central america, let me tell you.
