V!VA User‘s Description

This is an extension of the Cerro de la Cruz walk and is a bit of a toughie. The climb heads up the same path but take the left fork at the clearing to start heading up the big hill that towers over you. The route winds around the back of the mountain, offering good views out to the surrounding hills, then climbs to the top to offer fantastic birdseye views of Lake Atitlan and its surroundings. It is best to take a guide to show you the paths.

Price Description: Approx 6hrs. Price: Q75p/p ($9.90 USD) with guide from Officina Fundacion Solar / Rupalaj K'Istalin in San Juan, 6943784, rupalajkistalin@yahoo.es.
