City Walk

By Will Gray

This short walk is a great way to see the city from on high, but go to the tourist police station off the north eastern side of the main square to sign up, as at the time of writing it was not safe to do on your own. Heading north in town the guide will lead you to a set of concrete steps which climbs up through open forest to a viewpoint on the hill from which the whole of Antigua spreads out before you and all three volcanoes - Agua, Acatenago and Fuego - are clearly visible.

Travel Tips: Twice daily, 10:00 and 15:00.
