Hotel

By Will Gray

This place opened in March 2006 and it is an old hotel that has been turned into a pristine new hostel. Enter through the nicely decoured bar and out back you will find a huge, but homely, place with dorms to sleep 52, four twins and a single. All rooms have local woven beadspreads and palatial wooden doors. There are plenty of different communal areas, including a movie room, lounge and tree-filled hammock patio. There is a reasonably priced restaurant and the three owners, one local and two English, generate a friendly atmosphere.
